I grew up in a Baptist preacher's home in Hammond, Indiana. As a child, I was constantly making up stories in my head during long ministry road trips and recounting the tales to any of my sisters who would listen. After being introduced to poetry and prose in middle school, I found a passion for putting my stories on the page. I never looked back.

While pursuing a degree in Christian education, I met the man who became my husband. He is my constant support system and my best friend. We currently reside in Florida where we serve in our local church while seeking daily adventures in between. Our favorite activities include reading books together, spoiling our poodle, and discovering new corners of our city to enjoy.
My first book, Courage to Pray, was published in 2019 by Berean Publications. I have also had several flash fiction stories published through Havok Publishing. Between writing projects, I work for a small hybrid press helping other authors navigate the path to publication.

I find inspiration through the writings of my favorite authors like C.S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien, as well as through the encouragement of fellow readers and writers alike. I hope that you will continue with me on this journey as I work toward spreading the light of Christ through the written word.
